A Message from Jessica

I am so honoured that the Green membership of Kitchener South - Hespeler have entrusted me to be their Green MPP candidate for the upcoming February 27th provincial election.

It is my deep belief that the Green priorities and policies align with the best interests of all Ontarians. Whether it be wanting to live and thrive in a stable climate, wanting a healthcare system that serves and improves rather than erodes, or wanting homeownership to be an accessible possibility to every working adult, we really do seem to want the same things and sadly we have a government that is not currently delivering it.

I have also had the privilege of being inspired by the Green representatives within Waterloo Region and seen what a voice they have become for the community.

The more I connect with the residents of Kitchener South - Hespeler, the more I'm convinced that these priorities and policies align with what our community values most. It is my goal to be a voice that represents this community in it's entirety to our provincial Parliament, and that stands up for urgent issues like the onslaught of climate change, the erosion of our healthcare system, and the society-shattering reality of unattainable homeownership.

Kitchener South - Hespeler has become my home. It is where my family and I chose to set down roots, and it will become the setting for our future. Taking care of our home is up to all of us - not only through our words, but by proving it with our actions.

Our province is at a tipping point on many issues - economic equity, affordable housing, health care and the environment, matters which have been ignored for too long. The time for action is now. We can no longer wait.

Success for this campaign will be a team effort.
